Everyone loves an Ask Me Anything (AMA), especially the fantasy football community. You can put me at the top of the list of those who love fantasy football AMA. Answering questions for a specific individual fantasy player is so much fun. Not only am I helping that fantasy player improve their team, but it also challenges me to think outside the general box of who is higher in my rankings or who to start this year.
FantasyPros does an excellent job with their Discord AMAs, giving members a chance to have their questions answered by professionals. Please join my Discord channel and reach out to me anytime with any fantasy football questions.

Fantasy Football Discord AMA & Mailbag
So, without further ado, let’s dive into some of the questions and answers from my Week 12 Discord AMA.
Lineup Questions
Should I pick up Emanuel Wilson or Kenneth Gainwell off the waiver wire?
Thankfully, it sounds like Josh Jacobs and Jaylen Warren both avoided significant injuries and could even play in Week 12. Therefore, neither backup running back is a must-add off the waiver wire. However, I would prioritize Wilson over Gainwell, as Jacobs seems more likely to miss time than Warren. Furthermore, Gainwell could end up splitting with Kaleb Johnson. Meanwhile, Wilson would be the featured guy if Jacobs misses time with his knee injury.
Is Jayden Reed or Luther Burden III the better stash?
If you are aiming for the most upside possible as a stash candidate, I would recommend Burden. Reed is coming off two significant injuries and does not have a clear return date. Meanwhile, the rookie is starting to earn more of a role on offense. He has played at least 44% of the snaps in back-to-back games after playing under 30% in every other contest this season. Furthermore, Burden had a career-high five targets last week, the second-most on the team.
Waiver Wire Questions
Would you start Alec Pierce, Rachaad White, or Devin Singletary this week?
Pierce has been outstanding lately, averaging 8.8 targets and 14.9 PPR fantasy points per game over his past four contests heading into last week’s bye, totaling 14.8 or more in all but one outing. Meanwhile, White lost significant work to Sean Tucker last week and could see Bucky Irving return in Week 12. Singletary had two rushing touchdowns last week, but had six fewer touches than Tyrone Tracy Jr. I would start Pierce despite the matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Which flex option is the best starting option this week between Tre Tucker, Chris Godwin, and Tyler Allgeier?
While Tucker had 14.7 PPR fantasy points on Monday night, the veteran faced a struggling Dallas Cowboys secondary. Unfortunately, he has a far less appealing matchup in Week 12 against the Cleveland Browns. Meanwhile, Godwin might not play this week. Even if he does, I wouldn’t trust him in my lineup. Therefore, Allgeier is my favorite option. Don’t be surprised if the Atlanta Falcons lean on the run game even more than usual with Michael Penix Jr. and Drake London out of the lineup.
Trade Questions
Should I trade Ja’Marr Chase for Puka Nacua if I must win in Week 12 to make the playoffs?
Maybe Chase gets his one-game suspension overturned on appeal. However, I wouldn’t bet on it, meaning he won’t play this week against the New England Patriots. Therefore, I would trade the superstar for Nacua if you must win this week to stay in the playoff race. The former BYU had 14.3 PPR fantasy points last week, his lowest total this season when not leaving the game early. However, Nacua should be better this week in an excellent matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Would you sell high or hold onto TreVeyon Henderson?
Henderson has had back-to-back outstanding games, totaling 33 rushing attempts for 209 yards, four touchdowns, six receptions for 34 receiving yards, a touchdown, and 60.3 PPR fantasy points, scoring at least two touchdowns and 28 fantasy points in both outings. However, Rhamondre Stevenson could return from a toe injury in Week 12. While Henderson should remain the lead running back, Stevenson will cut into his workload. I would sell high if you can net a clear-cut RB1 for the rookie.
Dynasty Questions
What should I do with Kenneth Walker III and DK Metcalf in dynasty?
Unfortunately, Walker has been impossible to trust in lineups because of Zach Charbonnet. Yet, he somehow managed to score 20.1 PPR fantasy points against an elite Los Angeles Rams run defense. Meanwhile, Metcalf has scored more than 12.3 fantasy points in only 30% of the games this season, totaling single-digits in four of the past five contests. I would hold onto them and readdress trade options in the offseason when their value might improve.
