Doing your weekly waivers in fantasy football can be more stressful than performing life-saving surgery on a loved one without any professional tools or medical knowledge. While that might be a slight exaggeration, deciding which players to add off the waiver wire each week can be stressful.
Finding and adding the right guys in shallow leagues is simple, as there are plenty of appealing options, and the waiver wire is full of talent. Unfortunately, making your waiver wire claims in deeper leagues can be a massive pain in the neck.
However, I’m here to help by giving fantasy players seven waiver wire targets they should add in deeper leagues in Week 15.

Deep League Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Targets
All the players in this article are rostered in under 25% of ESPN leagues.
Aaron Rodgers (QB – PIT): 23.3% Rostered
Many fantasy players dropped Rodgers after he struggled in Week 13. However, the future Hall of Famer bounced back last week against the Baltimore Ravens, totaling 284 passing yards, one touchdown, and 21.5 fantasy points, adding a score on the ground. More importantly, the veteran quarterback has an appealing fantasy playoff schedule. Rodgers faces the Miami Dolphins, Detroit Lions in a dome, and Cleveland Browns over the next three weeks. The only unfriendly matchup is against Cleveland, where Rodgers scored 17.5 fantasy points against them earlier this season.
Tyler Shough (QB – NO): 5.8% Rostered
Hopefully, fantasy players listened to me last week and already added Shough to their roster. The rookie was productive on Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, scoring 21.3 fantasy points. Furthermore, he was a massive factor on the ground, totaling seven rushing attempts for 55 yards, two touchdowns, and 17.5 fantasy points against the Buccaneers. Meanwhile, Shough faces the Carolina Panthers in the first round of the playoffs. The rookie had 282 passing yards, two touchdowns, and 19 fantasy points in the Week 10 matchup against the division rivals.
Jaylen Wright (RB – MIA): 1.8% Rostered
Unfortunately, De’Von Achane left Sunday’s blowout win over the New York Jets with a rib injury and did not return. Hopefully, that had more to do with the score than Achane’s injury. Meanwhile, Wright had seven rushing attempts for 107 yards, a touchdown, and 16.7 PPR fantasy points. By comparison, Ollie Gordon II had five rushing attempts for 17 yards, a touchdown, and 7.7 fantasy points against the division rivals. Wright should be ranked as a high-end RB2 in Week 15 if Achane can’t play because of the rib injury.
Darius Slayton (WR – NYG): 19.9% Rostered
The Giants have been eliminated from the playoffs. However, Slayton could play a meaningful role during the fantasy playoffs because of his excellent schedule. He faces the Washington Commanders next week, the Minnesota Vikings in Week 16, and the Las Vegas Raiders in the championship game matchup. The Commanders and Raiders have two of the worst defenses in the NFL. Meanwhile, the Vikings have had their issues defending wide receivers. More importantly, Slayton has played well lately, averaging 10.4 PPR fantasy points per game over his past four contests.
Isaac TeSlaa (WR – DET): 8.1% Rostered
Last week, Amon-Ra St. Brown played despite many thinking he would miss the game because of an ankle injury. Yet, TeSlaa still had a solid fantasy performance. The rookie finished with two receptions on three targets for 20 receiving yards, a touchdown, and 10 PPR fantasy points. Furthermore, he has scored double-digit fantasy points in half the games since Sam LaPorta went on season-ending injured reserve. While the Lions don’t have an excellent fantasy playoff schedule, TeSlaa could be the boom-or-bust flex option fantasy players can use moving forward.
Ryan Flournoy (WR – DAL): 0.3% Rostered
Flournoy has had some bright moments this season. He had six receptions on nine targets for 114 receiving yards and 18.4 PPR fantasy points in Week 5 with CeeDee Lamb sidelined. More importantly, the second-year pro was outstanding last week, totaling nine receptions on 13 targets for 115 receiving yards, a touchdown, and 26.5 fantasy points. While part of his production came after Lamb left the game with a concussion, Flournoy was outproducing George Pickens early in the contest. He is a sneaky flex option, especially if Lamb misses time.
Isaiah Likely (TE – BAL): 8.1% Rostered
While Mark Andrews remains Baltimore’s No. 1 tight end, Likely’s role on offense has grown lately. The veteran had four receptions on six targets for 25 receiving yards, a touchdown, and 12.5 PPR fantasy points against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Furthermore, he has had at least six targets and 12.5 fantasy points in back-to-back games after failing to reach either total over the first 12 weeks. More importantly, Likely faces the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 15 after they gave up 38.7 fantasy points to the Buffalo Bills’ tight ends on Sunday.
