Wednesday’s NBA DFS main slate is a massive 12-gamer that presents a wide range of game environments. Several contests carry elevated totals, but many also come with significant blowout risk, creating a tricky balance between upside and risk of losing minutes.
The New Orleans Pelicans versus Atlanta Hawks and Utah Jazz versus Oklahoma City Thunder are the only matchups with game totals of at least 240. However, both raise red flags. The Pelicans-Hawks game carries a 10.5-point spread, while the Jazz–Thunder matchup sits at a hefty 17.5 points, increasing the risk of reduced minutes for starters.
On the other end of the spectrum, Toronto Raptors versus Charlotte Hornets and the Orlando Magic vs. the Brooklyn Nets project as the most competitive games on the slate, each with spreads within three points. Those tighter margins offer more stability for rotations and minutes.
With spreads all over the board and teams continuing to navigate injuries and rest situations, pinpointing the right game environments and finding ways to differentiate lineups will be key. Below are some of the top plays and value options to target for Wednesday’s slate.

NBA DraftKings & FanDuel DFS Primer
NBA DFS Core Plays
- DraftKings: $12,100
- FanDuel: $12,400
Over his last five games, Luka Doncic has been one of the league’s most dominant players, averaging 32.8 points to go along with 5.4 rebounds, 8.8 assists and 1.4 steals per contest. That production has translated to at least 51 FanDuel points in four of his last five games, highlighting his consistent ability to deliver elite fantasy output.
Doncic’s hot streak makes him nearly impossible to ignore, even on a massive slate. He carries the potential to be the highest-scoring player of the night, particularly in a game featuring an appealing 234.5-point total, where his all-around game can shine in a high-paced, high-scoring environment.
- DraftKings: $10,100
- FanDuel: $10,700
Kawhi Leonard has been one of the top players in the league over his last 10 games, averaging a league-high 32.2 points while adding 7.8 rebounds, 4.1 assists, 2.2 steals and 1.2 blocks. His all-around production has been elite on both ends of the floor, making him a consistent fantasy centerpiece during this stretch.
Leonard draws a favorable matchup against the New York Knicks this evening, a team that has dropped four straight games and struggled defensively. New York ranks 28th in defensive efficiency over that span, setting up another strong opportunity for Leonard to maintain his high level of production.

NBA DFS Cash Game Targets
- DraftKings: $8,500
- FanDuel: $8,800
Devin Booker has been in excellent form over his last 11 games, scoring at least 20 points in each contest while averaging 27.2 points, 3.5 rebounds and 5.5 assists. His scoring consistency and playmaking make him a reliable fantasy option, capable of contributing across multiple categories.
Booker faces the Memphis Grizzlies this evening, a team coming off the second leg of a back-to-back and struggling defensively. Over their last four games, Memphis ranks 24th in defensive efficiency, creating a favorable matchup for Booker to continue his hot streak and deliver strong production.
- DraftKings: $6,900
- FanDuel: $6,900
Payton Pritchard has been impressive during the Boston Celtics’ four-game winning streak, averaging 16.8 points, 4.3 rebounds, 6.3 assists and one steal per game. His scoring and playmaking have been key to the team’s recent success, highlighting his ability to contribute in multiple areas.
Pritchard faces a favorable matchup against the Denver Nuggets, who are dealing with multiple injuries and have struggled defensively. Over their last four games, Denver ranks 26th in defensive efficiency, allowing Pritchard to continue his impressive play.
- DraftKings: $6,300
- FanDuel: $6,700
RJ Barrett has made an impressive return following his extended absence with a knee injury, playing in three straight games and showing steady improvement. Over that span, he’s averaging 21 points, 5.3 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.3 steals per game, providing solid all-around production for the Toronto Raptors.
Barrett is growing more comfortable with each outing, as evidenced by his increasing minutes. After being limited to 24 minutes in his first two games back, he logged 31 minutes in his most recent contest, signaling a gradual return to full capacity and boosting his potential impact moving forward.

NBA DFS GPP Targets
- DraftKings: $8,900
- FanDuel: $9,300
The Houston Rockets will be without Alperen Sengun (ankle) on Wednesday, putting Kevin Durant in a prime spot to produce. In Houston’s last two games without Sengun, Durant has posted a team-high 29.6% usage rate while averaging 30 points, 7.5 rebounds, 5.5 assists and two blocks.
Durant also draws a favorable matchup against the Portland Trail Blazers, who have allowed more than 110 points in four of their last five games. With increased offensive responsibility, Durant profiles as one of the top spend-up options on the slate.
- DraftKings: $6,900
- FanDuel: $6,700
Nickeil Alexander-Walker struggled in his last game against the Toronto Raptors, finishing with 14 points, five rebounds and four assists, but will look to bounce back tonight against the New Orleans Pelicans. The Pelicans have been vulnerable to opposing point guards, allowing the fifth-most fantasy points at the position over their last seven games while ranking 26th in defensive efficiency during that span.
With Trae Young (quad) listed as questionable, Alexander-Walker could draw the start once again. That potential expanded role, combined with a favorable matchup, gives him a strong opportunity to contribute across multiple categories and improve on his previous outing.
- DraftKings: $4,600
- FanDuel: $5,000
With the Washington Wizards playing on zero days of rest following Tuesday’s 120-112 upset over the Orlando Magic, Justin Champagnie could see an expanded role. The team may opt to rest some veteran players, which would likely result in a boost in his minutes and opportunities on both ends of the floor.
Champagnie has been performing well over his last three games, averaging 14.3 points, 5.3 rebounds, one assist and 1.7 blocks in 21.7 minutes per game. Keep a close eye on the injury report, as any rest decisions could further increase his upside and help him exceed value.

NBA DFS Value Plays
- DraftKings: $4,600
- FanDuel: $4,600
With Alperen Sengun (ankle) ruled out for Wednesday’s contest, Steven Adams is in line to draw another start and should continue to benefit from an expanded role. In four games without Sengun this season, Adams is averaging 7.3 points, eight rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.3 steals across 26.4 minutes per game.
Adams also lands in a highly favorable matchup against the Portland Trail Blazers, a team that has struggled to defend opposing centers. Portland has allowed the most fantasy points to the position over its last seven games, further boosting Adams’ outlook as he sees increased opportunities on both ends of the floor and remains well-positioned to exceed value in this spot.
- DraftKings: $4,800
- FanDuel: $4,700
The Denver Nuggets have a lengthy injury report, and Bruce Brown would be in line for another significant role if Jamal Murray (ankle) or Tim Hardaway Jr. (illness) are ruled out. When Denver was without both players on Monday, Brown logged 39 minutes and turned in a productive outing — 19 points, six rebounds, two assists and one steal.
Brown is already averaging 24.9 minutes per game this season, but his workload would see a notable increase if Murray or Hardaway are sidelined again. That added playing time would raise his usage and overall upside, making him a strong value option.
- DraftKings: $4,100
- FanDuel: $4,000
James Harden (shoulder) missed the Los Angeles Clippers’ game on Monday against the Golden State Warriors, allowing Kobe Sanders to step into a larger role. Sanders delivered a strong performance, finishing with 20 points, seven rebounds and three assists across 35 minutes of action.
With Harden listed as questionable for Wednesday, Sanders could once again see significant minutes and responsibilities if Harden is ruled out. Another start or expanded role would put Sanders in a favorable position to provide solid all-around production.
