Wednesday’s seven-game NBA DFS main slate comes with a heavy dose of trade deadline chaos. After a busy Tuesday that sent shockwaves across the league, rotations are fluid and roles remain unsettled. While every game on the slate carries a spread of 5.5 points or fewer — pointing to competitive environments throughout — the real “blowout” risk lies in the news cycle.
There’s a clear scoring hierarchy in place. The Memphis Grizzlies versus the Sacramento Kings leads the slate with a 230.5 total, while the Boston Celtics versus the Houston Rockets sits on the opposite end of the spectrum at 216.5. All other matchups fall in the 220 range.
With several teams navigating thin rotations due to injuries and potential roster movement, staying flexible and capitalizing on late-breaking value will be crucial. Identifying the right game environments and building lineups with leverage in mind could be the difference between cashing and crashing on Wednesday night.

NBA DFS Core Plays
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (PG – OKC)

It should come as no surprise that Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has been dominant of late, averaging 28 points, 5.3 rebounds, 10 assists and 1.7 steals over his last three games. He has already produced a 64.5 fantasy-point outing during that stretch and continues to offer elite upside heading into tonight’s matchup against the San Antonio Spurs.
While San Antonio is known for its defensive foundation, Gilgeous-Alexander has consistently found success in this matchup, averaging 29.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 1.3 blocks against the Spurs. San Antonio could also be without one of its top perimeter defenders in Stephon Castle (adductor), who is listed as questionable, which would further enhance Gilgeous-Alexander’s outlook.
Kawhi Leonard (SF, PF – LAC)

- FanDuel: $9,500
Kawhi Leonard draws a matchup against the Boston Celtics in what projects as the lowest total on the slate, but his recent form keeps him firmly in play. Over his last five games, Leonard has posted a 34.7% usage rate while averaging 24.8 points, 5.4 rebounds, 4.6 assists and 1.2 steals, underscoring just how central he has been to the Los Angeles Clippers’ offense.
The elevated usage gives Leonard significant upside despite the slower game environment, and a tightly projected contest should only increase his involvement down the stretch. If the Clippers want to keep pace with Boston, Leonard will once again be leaned on heavily as both a scorer and playmaker, making him a strong option.
NBA DFS Cash Game Targets
Ryan Rollins (PG, SG – MIL)

Ryan Rollins has been excellent over his last four games with Kevin Porter Jr. (oblique) and Giannis Antetokounmpo (calf) sidelined. During that stretch, he is averaging a team-high 21.8 points, six rebounds, 7.3 assists and 1.3 steals, consistently shouldering a large offensive and playmaking role.
Rollins has topped 40 fantasy points in all four of those games and should be capable of doing so again as long as Porter remains out on Wednesday. That said, the Milwaukee Bucks’ injury report is key here, as a return from Porter would significantly cut into Rollins’ usage and make him much tougher to trust in cash games.
GG Jackson II (SF, PF – MEM)
- DraftKings: $5,100
- FanDuel: $5,000
The Memphis Grizzlies and Utah Jazz completed an eight-player trade on Tuesday centered around Jaren Jackson Jr., a move that leaves Memphis shorthanded heading into Wednesday’s contest. The Grizzlies moved four players in the deal, and none of the newly acquired pieces will be available, creating immediate rotation uncertainty and opening up meaningful minutes for the remaining healthy bodies.
That sets up GG Jackson II in a strong spot. He could push toward 30 minutes and has been playing solid basketball lately, averaging 12.8 points, 5.2 rebounds and 2.3 assists in 23.6 minutes. With the roster thinned out, Jackson should see an expanded role and increased offensive responsibility, giving him a clear path to outperforming his typical production.
NBA DFS GPP Targets
Russell Westbrook III (PG – SAC)
- DraftKings: $8,000
- FanDuel: $6,900
Russell Westbrook III is returning from a three-game absence due to a foot contusion and sets up as a strong tournament option in his first game back against the Memphis Grizzlies. The upside is well established, but this spot stands out even more given the matchup.
Ty Jerome is back in the mix for Memphis and has looked sharp offensively since returning, but the defensive issues have been hard to ignore. He has posted the worst defensive rating among all guards since coming back, making him a clear target on that end of the floor. Westbrook’s downhill aggression and willingness to attack mismatches should be on full display, and this profiles as a matchup he can exploit.
Myles Turner (C – MIL)
- DraftKings: $5,100
- FanDuel: $6,200
Myles Turner is the true definition of a tournament-only play, with two games under 27 fantasy points and three games over 45 points across his last five outings. He brings enormous upside. We could very well catch him on the high end of the rollercoaster.
Turner faces the New Orleans Pelicans, who have allowed the most fantasy points to opposing centers this season. With that matchup, he has a clear path to a big ceiling performance, making him a prime candidate for riskier lineups aiming for top-heavy returns.
NBA DFS Value Plays
Maxime Raynaud (C – SAC)
- DraftKings: $4,900
- FanDuel: $4,700
Domantas Sabonis (back) has missed the last two games for the Sacramento Kings and is listed as questionable for Wednesday’s matchup against the Memphis Grizzlies. With trade rumors swirling around him, he may sit out again, leaving a larger role for others in the rotation.
In Sabonis’ absence, Maxime Raynaud has stepped up and fully capitalized on his expanded opportunity. Over his last two games, he’s averaged 14 points, 10 rebounds, one assist and 1.5 blocks in 31.7 minutes. As long as Sabonis remains sidelined, Raynaud profiles as an excellent value play and a reliable option for lineups.
Kobe Sanders (SG, SF – LAC)
- DraftKings: $4,300
- FanDuel: $4,100
Kobe Sanders has started the Los Angeles Clippers’ last two games and has been solid in that role, averaging 14.5 points, 2.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists across 32.7 minutes. He has provided steady production while benefiting from consistent playing time.
Sanders should draw another start on Wednesday and remains a strong value option as long as newly acquired Darius Garland is unavailable. With a secure role and minutes in the low 30s, he offers a reliable path to exceed 5X value at his current price point.
