NBA DFS Picks & Lineup Advice: Saturday (3/28)

Saturday’s four-game NBA DFS main slate presents a wide range of game environments, from fast-paced, high-scoring matchups to slower, more methodical contests. And we have you covered with our top NBA DFS picks.

The Chicago Bulls versus the Memphis Grizzlies headlines the slate with a 243.5 total, while the Sacramento Kings versus the Atlanta Hawks follows closely at 237.5. The remaining games fall into the 220s, creating a clear tier of elite scoring environments.

Three of the four games carry spreads within six points, with Kings-Hawks standing as the lone outlier with a 15.5-point spread in favor of Atlanta, raising the risk of shortened rotations and reduced minutes for key starters.

With multiple teams managing injuries, prioritizing the right game environments while identifying leverage spots will be critical when building rosters. Below are some of the top targets and value plays to consider for Saturday’s slate.

NBA DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Primer

NBA DFS Core Plays

Joel Embiid (C – PHI)

  • DraftKings: $9,200
  • FanDuel: $9,600

Joel Embiid returned Wednesday after a 13-game absence due to a strained right oblique and immediately made an impact. In just 28 minutes, he poured in 35 points while adding seven assists, six rebounds and one block, showing no signs of rust. With Tyrese Maxey (finger) out, Embiid was given the green light offensively and took full advantage.

Maxey is listed as questionable for tonight, and while Embiid would see an even larger usage boost if he’s sidelined, his outlook remains elite regardless. Given his ability to dominate as both a scorer and facilitator, Embiid carries one of the highest ceilings on the slate and stands out as a premier option on a smaller four-game slate.

Josh Giddey (PG, SG – CHI)

  • DraftKings: $9,700
  • FanDuel: $9,600

Josh Giddey is coming off a quiet performance against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Thursday, finishing with five points, seven rebounds and 11 assists. That outcome isn’t overly concerning, though, as the Thunder hold the top defensive rating in the league, making it a difficult matchup for any opposing guard.

Giddey now finds himself in a much more favorable spot against the Memphis Grizzlies. Memphis ranks 25th in defensive rating and has allowed the sixth-most fantasy points to opposing point guards over its last seven games, creating a clear bounce-back opportunity.

With his ability to contribute across multiple categories, Giddey is well-positioned to return to form and deliver a strong all-around performance in this matchup.

NBA DFS Cash Game Targets

Daniss Jenkins (PG, SG – DET)

  • DraftKings: $6,600
  • FanDuel: $7,700

Daniss Jenkins has done an excellent job filling in for Cade Cunningham (lung) in the starting lineup, as Cunningham is set to miss his sixth consecutive game on Saturday. Over that stretch, Jenkins has stepped into a major role, averaging 19.8 points, 3.6 rebounds and eight assists across 37.8 minutes per game.

With the Detroit Pistons dealing with an extensive injury report, Jenkins is expected to remain heavily involved offensively. His current pricing on DraftKings and FanDuel hasn’t fully caught up to his expanded role, making him an appealing value option. Given the projected workload and opportunity, he’s well-positioned to deliver strong returns in Saturday’s matchup against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Paul Reed (C – DET)

  • DraftKings: $4,500
  • FanDuel: $5,700

Paul Reed could be in line for a major role this evening, as Isaiah Stewart (calf) has been ruled out and Jalen Duren (knee) is listed as questionable. If Duren is also sidelined, Reed is expected to enter the starting lineup, which would likely make him the highest-rostered player on the slate.

Reed has started eight games this season and has made the most of those opportunities, averaging 13.9 points, 7.8 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 1.8 blocks and 2.1 steals. His ability to contribute across multiple categories, especially on the defensive end, gives him strong per-minute upside and should allow him to easily exceed 5X value, especially on DraftKings.

NBA DFS GPP Targets

Julius Randle (PF – MIN)

  • DraftKings: $8,500
  • FanDuel: $8,000

Julius Randle leads the Minnesota Timberwolves with a 29.1% usage rate over their last five games and finds himself in a strong spot to deliver a bounce-back performance against a Detroit Pistons team dealing with numerous injuries. While he was limited to just nine points against the Boston Celtics on Sunday, he responded well on Wednesday in another tough matchup against the Houston Rockets, finishing with 24 points, six rebounds, six assists and two steals.

Randle’s ability to contribute across multiple categories, combined with his elevated role in the offense, makes him a reliable option when the matchup is favorable. Against a shorthanded Detroit Pistons squad, he should have plenty of opportunities to assert himself as a primary scorer and playmaker, putting him in position to be one of the top performers on the slate.

GG Jackson II (SF, PF – MEM)

  • DraftKings: $5,700
  • FanDuel: $6,000

GG Jackson II has led the Memphis Grizzlies in scoring over their last four games, averaging 19.8 points per contest. He’s in an excellent spot to deliver a monster performance tonight against the Chicago Bulls in a game featuring a slate-high 243.5 total.

The matchup is ideal for scoring upside, as the Bulls have played at the fastest pace in the league over their last four games while ranking just 22nd in defensive efficiency. With a high-paced, high-scoring environment, Jackson has a clear path to fill the stat sheet and emerge as one of the top performers on the slate.

NBA DFS Value Plays

Bones Hyland (PG – MIN)

  • DraftKings: $4,900
  • FanDuel: $4,700

The Minnesota Timberwolves will be without Anthony Edwards (knee) and Jaden McDaniels (knee), creating an opportunity for Bones Hyland to take on an expanded role. Over his last five games, Hyland has averaged 17.6 points, 1.6 rebounds and 3.6 assists across 27 minutes per contest, showing the ability to contribute efficiently when given consistent run.

With McDaniels missing his first game of the month and Ayo Dosunmu (calf) listed as questionable, Hyland could see 30+ minutes, significantly boosting his upside. The added playing time, combined with his scoring and playmaking ability, positions him as a strong option with the ability to exceed 5X value.

Ronald Holland II (SF, PF – DET)

  • DraftKings: $3,700
  • FanDuel: $3,800

The Detroit Pistons have Tobias Harris (hip), Duncan Robinson (hip) and Ausar Thompson (ankle) all listed as questionable on their initial injury report. If at least one of them is ruled out, Ronald Holland II could be in line for 20+ minutes and would be a strong candidate to enter the starting lineup.

Holland has started just five games this season, but he’s averaged 7.8 points, 4.6 rebounds, 1.4 assists and two steals across 28 minutes in those opportunities. That production highlights his ability to contribute on both ends of the floor when given an extended run, particularly with his defensive activity.

If he sees elevated minutes again, Holland has a clear path to outperform his salary, especially if he gets going offensively early and builds confidence. This is a situation worth monitoring closely, as Detroit’s injury report could open up multiple value options across the slate.
