Wednesday’s eight-game NBA DFS main slate offers a diverse mix of game environments, ranging from up-tempo, high-scoring matchups to slower-paced contests. There are also a couple of spots with notable blowout risk, which could result in shortened rotations and reduced minutes for key starters.
Two games stand out with totals north of 240, led by the Miami Heat versus the Cleveland Cavaliers with a slate-high 242.5 total and the Washington Wizards versus the Utah Jazz (240.5).
On the other end, a few matchups carry significant blowout potential, including the San Antonio Spurs (-15.5) versus the Memphis Grizzlies and the Los Angeles Lakers (-10.5) versus the Indiana Pacers.
With such a wide range of projected outcomes and multiple injury situations to monitor, prioritizing the right game environments while identifying leverage spots will be essential when building lineups. Below are the top targets and value plays to consider for Wednesday’s slate.

NBA DraftKings & FanDuel DFS Primer
NBA DFS Core Plays
Luka Doncic (PG – LAL)
- DraftKings: $12,200
- FanDuel: $12,800
Luka Doncic has been on a dominant run, scoring at least 30 points in 10 straight games while leading the league with 39.2 points per contest during that span. His production hasn’t been limited to scoring, either, as he’s also averaged 8.3 rebounds, 7.3 assists and 2.6 steals per game, continuing to operate as the engine of the Los Angeles Lakers’ offense.
Despite carrying the highest salary, Doncic has consistently justified the price tag, reaching at least 50 fantasy points in each of those 10 contests while eclipsing 85 fantasy points twice. That type of ceiling is difficult to match, especially when few players possess his combination of scoring volume and all-around production. Doncic continues to deliver regardless of matchup or game environment, making him one of the safest options available.
Victor Wembanyama (PF, C – SAS)
- DraftKings: $11,300
- FanDuel: $12,500
NBA DFS Cash Game Targets
NBA DFS GPP Targets
Paul George (SF, PF – PHI)
- DraftKings: $7,500
- FanDuel: $6,700
Paul George is expected to return tonight after a 25-game suspension, and Philadelphia 76ers head coach Nick Nurse indicated he won’t face any restrictions in his first game back. That immediately puts George in play, especially with Tyrese Maxey (finger) and Kelly Oubre Jr. (elbow) already ruled out, while Joel Embiid (oblique) and Quentin Grimes (illness) remain questionable.
With Philadelphia set to be without multiple key contributors, there’s a clear path for George to take on a significant offensive role right away. The team could lean heavily on him as a primary scoring option, giving him strong upside relative to his expected workload and usage.
That said, he profiles best as a GPP play. There’s always some level of uncertainty with a player returning after an extended absence, whether it’s potential rust or an unexpected limitation. Still, given the opportunity and surrounding injuries, George is in a strong spot to exceed value if things break right.
Jamir Watkins (SG, SF – WSH)
- DraftKings: $6,300
- FanDuel: $5,300
NBA DFS Value Plays
Oscar Tshiebwe (C – UTA)
- DraftKings: $3,700
- FanDuel: $4,100
The Utah Jazz are expected to be without a couple of key frontcourt pieces, as Lauri Markkanen (hip) has already been ruled out and Kyle Filipowski (illness) is listed as doubtful. If Filipowski is ultimately sidelined, it could open the door for Oscar Tshiebwe to see another expanded opportunity in the rotation.
Tshiebwe logged 28 minutes in Monday’s contest against the Toronto Raptors and made the most of the workload, finishing with 16 points, seven rebounds, two assists, two blocks and one steal. With Utah continuing to manage its frontcourt depth late in the season, there’s a realistic path for him to push toward the 20-minute mark again.
If that level of playing time holds, Tshiebwe would be in a strong position to return five times his value. His ability to rack up rebounds and defensive stats in limited minutes supports a strong per-minute fantasy profile, especially in a situation where opportunity should continue to be available.
Anthony Gill (PF, C – WSH)
- DraftKings: $3,500
- FanDuel: $4,200
Anthony Gill has been productive over his last two games, averaging 15.5 points, five rebounds and 2.5 steals across 26.1 minutes. He’s in position for an expanded role again tonight against the Utah Jazz, with Alex Sarr (toe) ruled out and Tristan Vukcevic (back) listed as questionable.
If Vukcevic is ultimately sidelined, Gill could draw the start at center, which would significantly boost his fantasy outlook. Utah is dealing with multiple injuries of its own and has allowed the eighth-most fantasy points to opposing centers over its last seven games, setting up a favorable matchup.
With a clear path to increased minutes and opportunity, Gill stands out as a strong value option with the potential to exceed expectations.
