  • David Bednar leads all of baseball with five saves so far this season.
  • Mason Miller continues to dominate opposing hitters every time he steps foot on the mound. He is an early pitcher to monitor for the National League Cy Young Award.
  • Lucas Erceg has taken control of the closer role in the Royals’ bullpen with Carlos Estevez on the injured list (IL). Erceg may keep the job even when Estevez returns.
  • Paul Sewald has taken control of the closer role in the Diamondbacks’ bullpen with four saves.
