Two-Start Rostered Pitchers Notes

• Paul Skenes bounced back from his Opening Day disaster with five innings of one-run ball. There was never any concern.
• Bryan Woo has picked up right where he left off in 2025. Through his first 13 innings, he’s allowed two earned runs on five hits and two walks with 15 strikeouts.
• Kevin Gausman‘s 21 strikeouts in his first two games are his most in a two-game stretch since 2023. He’s had back-to-back games with double-digit strikeouts three times in his career, including this season.
• Jacob Misiorowski had 11 strikeouts on Opening Day. He followed that up with six innings of one-run ball with five more strikeouts. He has already allowed two homers and five walks in 11 innings.
• Gavin Williams‘ second start of the season against the Dodgers was one of the best of his career. He struck out 10 batters and only allowed two hits across seven scoreless innings. The three walks combined with the six from his first outing are concerning.

Two-Start Streamer Options Notes

• David Peterson has two of the toughest matchups of the week. The Cubs rank in the top 10 in wOBA against left-handed pitchers, and the Dodgers are the Dodgers.
• Matthew Liberatore showed some encouraging signs during spring training, but it hasn’t translated to games that count. His 11.4 K/9 during spring training has led to a 3.2 K/9 over his first 11 innings.
• Cristian Javier gets two solid matchups against bottom-five teams in wOBA against right-handed pitchers. Despite the matchups, he’s hard to trust. His 7.5 K/9 since his return to the mound last season doesn’t promote confidence.
