Another week has come and gone, and it is time to look ahead to the upcoming slate of Major League Baseball action and dive into the fantasy baseball streaming pitchers. I’m here every week to give you suggestions on which pitchers you should stream to win your matchups.

Keep in mind that starters can get off schedule, and some projected starters may be pushed back due to injuries or weather.
First, let’s take a look at last week’s picks:

Last week could not compare to the great streamers we had the week before. Nick Martinez and Max Meyer threw gems, and Luis Severino held his own. Noah Schultz really struggled, and Shane Baz and Kyle Harrison did not impress. Let’s aim for a higher floor this week.
Fantasy Baseball Streaming Pitchers: Week 7
Monday, May 11
Joey Cantillo (SP – CLE) vs. LAA | 20% Rostered
I love Joey Cantillo against the Angels. He is a high-strikeout arm facing an Angels squad tied with the Rockies for the most strikeouts in the Majors. The Angels have a team OPS of .706 this season, making them an average opponent. The Angels’ offense holds its own, but Cantillo has the stuff to get through them.
The lefty does not overpower hitters with velocity. He has a low-90s fastball, but he also wields a changeup with a 43.6% whiff rate, and a curveball and slider with great vertical movement. The 26-year-old has struck out 37 batters in 39.2 innings this season, earning a 3.43 ERA. His xERA is 4.07.
It is hard to find a starter with great strikeout potential in deeper leagues.

Tuesday, May 12
Stephen Kolek (SP – KC) @CWS | 1% Rostered
For whatever reason, Tuesday doesn’t have many streaming options. Stephen Kolek has some solid potential but is outshined by other pitchers on this list.
The 29-year-old righty got called up to the Royals last week after injuries to their rotation. Kolek does not have great stuff, but he has great command (6.7% walk rate in 2025). Kolek demonstrated his command of the strike zone as he held the Guardians to three runs over six innings, allowing four hits, zero walks and striking out three. Kolek appears to be building off his impressive 2025 season, where he threw 112.2 innings and recorded a 3.51 ERA.
Is Kolek an amazing option against the White Sox, whose OPS of .715 actually ranks 10th-best in the Majors? Maybe not amazing, but Kolek is a solid pitcher for ratios this week.

Wednesday, May 13
Christian Scott (SP – NYM) vs. DET | 3% Rostered
Christian Scott seems to be gathering his footing in the Majors, especially as a strikeout pitcher. The 26-year-old righty has 15 strikeouts in 11 innings, reflecting his vast strikeout potential from having a career 11.3 K/9 ratio in the minors.
Scott tore his UCL during his debut season in 2024, which set his career back a season and a half. He is now once again flashing the potential that once made him the Mets’ top pitching prospect. Scott primarily throws an upper-90s fastball, a cutter and a sweeper with a 40% whiff rate. Scott has not been hit hard yet, and his arsenal seems capable of limiting damage. His red flag is his 14.6% walk rate and lack of control. He gets strikeouts, but he also allows walks.
Scott is a solid streamer against the Tigers, who are 13th in team OPS. Although Scott may get knocked around a little bit, his strikeouts should limit damage for fantasy impact.
Alternative: Grant Holmes (SP – ATL) vs. CHC | 9% Rostered
Thursday, May 14
Robby Snelling (SP – MIA) @MIN | 17% Rostered
As I’m sure you know, Robby Snelling is one of the top pitching prospects in baseball. As I’m sure you also know, his debut did not quite go as planned. He allowed three runs in his first inning. To the southpaw’s credit, he did not allow another run, completing a stat line of five innings, three runs, five hits, four walks and two strikeouts.
Why should we stream Snelling? I believe he will improve in his next start and beyond. He got plenty of Nationals batters in 0-2 counts, but was not able to put them away. I expect that to change as the 22-year-old adjusts. Snelling’s pitches looked great in his small sample, and I expect that will translate into actual success moving forward.
Consider streaming and holding Snelling against the 17-23 Twins.

Friday, May 15
Connelly Early (SP – BOS) @ATL | 21% Rostered
Connelly Early is one of my favorite picks this week. He is coming off his best start of the season, where he struck out eight Rays across seven scoreless innings. Any hint of this dominance against the Braves would make the 24-year-old a wonderful streamer.
Early has come into his own recently. A few good starts have given him a 3.16 ERA in 42.2 innings. He has 39 strikeouts. The lefty has a six-pitch mix — a lively fastball, a change-up with deadly vertical movement, a putaway sinker, a curveball, a slider and a sweeper. Early has controlled this impressive selection of pitches with a decent, but not great, 10.2% walk rate.
The Braves have a team OPS of .785, the second-highest in baseball. They are a formidable opponent. But I like Early — and his momentum — headed into any matchup.

Saturday, May 16
Jameson Taillon (SP – CHC) @CWS | 18% Rostered
Jameson Taillon is a veteran of both the Majors and waiver wires. The 34-year-old is often solid, but not quite good enough to stick around on a fantasy manager’s roster. This season might be a mini resurgence.
Taillon has a 4.24 ERA this season and a 3.96 xERA. His strikeouts are way up. His 8.0 K/9 ratio is the highest it has been since 2023. Taillon has found great success by throwing his cutter more often.
The White Sox offense may have a little more kick to it than in years past, but I like Taillon against them. This is a high-floor, low-ceiling stream.

Sunday, May 17
JR Ritchie (SP – ATL) vs. BOS | 10% Rostered
Once again, Sunday is a day without the best streamers. JR Ritchie makes the best of a bad situation.
Ritchie stunned in his debut, holding the Nationals to two runs across seven innings. His two starts after? The rookie walked many more batters (10 over 10.1 innings) and has yet to reach the same level of dominance, allowing five runs in this stretch.
The reason I like this matchup is that it gives a chance for the 22-year-old righty to get back on track. Most of his damage has come from self-induced walks, and playing the Red Sox, who have the third-worst team OPS in baseball, is a great chance to bounce back.
