Two Start Streamer Notes
- Tarik Skubal recovered quickly from surgery to remove loose bodies in his elbow. By the time his two-start week comes around, he’ll have made three starts since being activated from the injured list (IL). In his first start back, he allowed two runs through 4.2 innings with four strikeouts to one walk. It was his first game action in 45 days, so the results don’t mean everything. His pitches all returned to their normal velocities, and he picked up nine whiffs on 80 of them. The Yankees are the second-best team in wOBA against lefties, but they’ll be without Aaron Judge. The Rangers, on the other hand, have the third-highest strikeout rate against southpaws.
- Bryan Woo is projected to get two starts, but the Mariners are struggling to find the right rotation. They’ve been piggybacking with Luis Castillo and Bryce Miller; however, the players don’t seem too happy with that solution. A trade would help, but that’s not guaranteed. Woo has two solid matchups in Week 14, both of which come in Seattle. The Angels are without Mike Trout, and the Blue Jays are 24th in runs scored.
- Jacob deGrom gets two great matchups against the Guardians and Tigers. The Guardians are 27th in the league in runs scored and have lost Jose Ramirez to a hamate bone fracture. While the Tigers have the ninth-worst wOBA and strike out the sixth-most against righties, deGrom is currently the fourth-best qualified starting pitcher in terms of strikeout rate.

Two-Start Streamer Notes
- Sandy Alcantara gets a couple of matchups in two of the toughest ballparks for pitchers. The Athletics’ home park is ranked number one in Statcast‘s 2026 Park Factor, while Coors Field is second. Alcantara already struggles to get whiffs or pick up strikeouts, and these environments surely won’t help.
- Eric Lauer is lined up for two starts, but that could very well change. The Dodgers rarely have a pitcher go twice in a week with their six-man rotation, but they may have to in a seven-game week. In his first four starts with the team, Lauer has a 3.22 ERA, 1.03 WHIP and two quality starts, but just a 5.6 K/9. The Dodgers give him a great chance to earn a win despite the limited upside. The impending road trip against the Athletics isn’t ideal, but the Padres are the best matchup in baseball.
