6 Fantasy Baseball Risers & Fallers: Week 15 (2026)

6 Fantasy Baseball Risers & Fallers: Week 15 (2026)

Welcome to our weekly fantasy baseball risers and fallers column. In this article, I’ll identify three risers and three fallers based on what transpired over the previous week.

Given that we’re a few months into the season, there are more options to choose from. We now know how managers are deploying their players, with some surprisingly receiving less playing time than initially expected. We also have a few young hitters who are making their presence felt immediately.

Without further ado, let’s find out who this week’s biggest risers and fallers are.

Fantasy Baseball Risers

Otto Lopez (2B, SS – MIA)

Otto Lopez continues to tear the cover off the ball, slashing .462/.500/.885 with two home runs and one stolen base in 30 plate appearances in the last seven days. His season-long slash line is now .345/.378/.522 with nine home runs and 17 stolen bases.

The 27-year-old middle infielder now has a 144 wRC+ on the season. Needless to say, he’s absolutely smashed expectations, and we need to consider him as an elite middle infielder moving forward, at least for this season.

Heriberto Hernandez (OF – MIA)

Another Marlin makes this list, which really goes to show how red-hot this team is right now. Heriberto Hernandez is slashing .389/.500/1.167 with four home runs in 22 plate appearances.

While his overall slash line is nothing special — .234/.315/.46 with 12 homers and five steals in 216 plate appearances — you have to like the 11.1% barrel rate. Hernandez has given us a nice power boost off the waiver wire.

    Cole Carrigg (OF – COL)

It’s time to start taking Cole Carrigg a bit more seriously, as the talented outfielder is slashing .360/.407/.760 with one home run in 27 plate appearances. The 24-year-old outfielder is proving that he belongs in the big leagues, putting up a 132 wRC+ in 109 plate appearances so far.

You have to like how Carrigg has kept his strikeout rate in check at 20.2%. Playing at Coors Field makes Carrigg an intriguing asset for the rest of the season.

    Braden Montgomery (OF – CWS)

We’ve discussed a prospect who has been crushing the ball right now. Now, it’s time to dive into someone who is struggling. In the last seven days, Braden Montgomery is slashing .158/.200/.158 with zero home runs in 20 plate appearances.

Montgomery now has a 4.2% barrel rate and an 88 wRC+ on the season. With that said, he is a polished hitter who just needs more reps. At least he’s kept his strikeouts in check (21.2% strikeout rate).

    Cody Bellinger (OF – NYY)

Cody Bellinger is quietly having a disappointing season, slashing .247/.340/.414 with 11 homers and 10 steals in 391 plate appearances. He’s been mired in a cold streak of late, with a .172/.200/.207 slash and zero homers and zero steals in 30 plate appearances.

While he’s likely to get it going given his track record, we have to admit that Bellinger has been frustrating to start with. The Yankees clearly need Aaron Judge to return to get the rest of their hitters back on track.

    Jazz Chisholm Jr. (2B, 3B – NYY)

Jazz Chisholm Jr. is another Yankee worth mentioning in this section. In the last seven days, he’s slashing .167/.273/.167 with zero homers and zero steals in 22 plate appearances.

While Chisholm has 26 steals on the season, he’s hitting only .221. That’s the kind of batting average drain that makes it hard to enjoy his power-speed profile. Even though he is still an elite option, we have to point out his flaws.
