Rostered Two-Start Pitchers

These are the pitchers lined up for two starts and their roster rates:

Notes

  • There’s plenty of time for it to change, but Cristopher Sanchez is the only universally rostered pitcher scheduled for two starts in Week 17. He’s had an amazing season so far, posting a 2.62 ERA, 1.16 WHIP, 10.3 K/9 and 13 quality starts across 120.1 innings. He likely won’t get to pitch in the All-Star game, but should be ready to go in the second half.
  • Hunter Greene returned from injury and has racked up the strikeouts. In two starts, he’s completed 10.1 innings and piled up 19 strikeouts. His pitch velocities are all in line with previous seasons, and he’s introduced a new sinker to use against right-handed batters. Greene has a chance to be a huge fantasy contributor in the second half.
  • Griffin Jax has two of the best matchups of the week. He faces the Blue Jays on the road before returning home to face the Guardians. Both teams are in the bottom seven in the league in wOBA against right-handed pitchers and are in the bottom four in total runs scored.
