Wednesday’s MLB DFS main slates vary between FanDuel and DraftKings. The main slate on FanDuel features 14 games, starting at 6:35 p.m. ET. The main slate on DraftKings includes eight games, beginning at 7:10 p.m. ET. The Underdog pick’em selections are also from the night’s games.

Chase Burns (SP – CIN) vs. Philadelphia Phillies

Chase Burns is undaunted by his hitter-friendly home ballpark. According to FanGraphs, he’s twirled a 2.58 ERA, 3.45 xFIP, 1.09 WHIP, 8.1% walk rate and 30% strikeout rate in 66.1 innings at home since last season.

Burns has a plus-matchup tonight. The Phillies are tied for 21st in wRC+ (96) with a 23.4% strikeout rate versus righties and are dead last in wRC+ (78) with a 24.6% strikeout rate on the road in 2026. Philadelphia is also tied for 13th in wRC+ (108) with a 25.5% strikeout rate in the previous 30 days.

MacKenzie Gore (SP – TEX) vs. Los Angeles Angels

MacKenzie Gore has struggled mightily on the road this season, but he’s dominated from the hill at home. In seven home starts spanning 43.1 innings in 2026, the lefty has recorded a 2.49 ERA, 3.30 xFIP, 0.92 WHIP, 6.5% walk rate and 29.2% strikeout rate.

Gore’s matchup and betting info are both desirable. The Angels are tied for 14th in wRC+ (97) with a 25.3% strikeout rate versus lefties and second in wRC+ (110) with a 24.5% strikeout rate on the road. They’re also 20th in wRC+ (101) with a 25.5% strikeout rate in the previous 30 days. The Rangers are -160 favorites, and the game’s total is 7.5 runs.

Connor Prielipp (SP – MIN) vs. Cleveland Guardians

Connor Prielipp is having a more interesting rookie campaign than his 4.96 ERA suggests. The lefty’s 4.08 xERA, 4.14 xFIP and 4.00 SIERA are more palatable, and his 23.8% strikeout rate is DFS-friendly.

Prielipp isn’t a viable option on FanDuel, but he’s an intriguing SP2 option in GPPs on DraftKings in a favorable matchup. The Guardians are 25th in wRC+ (86) with a 22.7% strikeout rate versus lefties and are tied for 24th in wRC+ (86) with a 22.9% strikeout rate on the road this season.

Cleveland is also tied for 27th in wRC+ (82) with a 26.2% strikeout rate in the previous 30 days. The Twins are -135 favorites, and the game’s total is 8.5 runs.

Ryan Feltner is sporting a career-low, yet unimpressive 4.27 ERA through a dozen starts this season. It’s unsupported by his 4.90 xERA, 4.42 xFIP, and 4.61 SIERA. The veteran righty also has a career-low 18% strikeout rate this season.

Feltner isn’t a terrifying matchup for either handedness of hitter. The 127 righties who’ve faced Feltner have a .327 wOBA this year, and the 117 lefties have a .309 wOBA, aided greatly by a .216 batting average allowed and .235 batting average on balls in play (BABIP). The Dodgers’ offense has a tantalizing matchup.

Roki Sasaki‘s turnaround was the equivalent of the Abe Simpson gif. After a brief glimmer of hope, he’s found a new rock bottom. In his past four starts, Sasaki has a hilariously bad 10.06 ERA, 6.34 xERA, 5.70 xFIP, 5.39 SIERA and 1.88 WHIP.

Sasaki has also been a punching bag for all hitters, coughing up a .351 wOBA to 175 left-handed batters and a .370 wOBA to 154 right-handed batters in 2026. The Rockies can further Sasaki’s woes tonight.

Core Studs

Shohei Ohtani has clobbered 94 homers with a .418 on-base percentage (OBP), .356 ISO, .442 wOBA and 187 wRC+ in 1,233 plate appearances against righties since 2024.
Cole Carrigg has ripped four round-trippers, with 23 runs, 21 RBI, two stolen bases, a .390 OBP, a .282 ISO, a .414 wOBA and a 150 wRC+ in 101 plate appearances in 2026.
Hunter Goodman was scratched from last night’s lineup with a wrist injury, but he’s a compelling pick if he returns tonight. Goodman isn’t merely a product of Coors Field, and he can muscle up even without the platoon advantage. In 409 plate appearances against righties on the road since 2024, Goodman has mashed 26 taters with a .281 OBP, .256 ISO, .329 wOBA and 109 wRC+.

Value Plays/Punts

Jake Cronenworth is in stellar form. In his last seven games, he’s had three multi-hit efforts, and he homered in two of the games he didn’t record multiple hits.
Philadelphia’s probable starter tonight remains a mystery, but Nathaniel Lowe is a nifty punt if they start a righty. Lowe has hit 38 homers with a .345 OBP, .174 ISO, .339 wOBA and 118 wRC+ in 1,057 plate appearances against righties since 2024.
In 127 plate appearances from May 24th through July 6th, Kyle Karros swatted six homers with 26 runs, 19 RBI, one stolen base, a .441 OBP, .294 ISO, .457 wOBA, .388 expected wOBA (xwOBA) and 179 wRC+. He recorded a walk and a run last night.

MacKenzie Gore (SP – TEX): 6.5 Strikeouts — Higher

MacKenzie Gore surpassed 6.5 strikeouts in his last start, a road tilt against the Guardians on July 1st, striking out seven. Still, it’s his excellence at home that’s eye-catching.

Gore has exceeded 6.5 strikeouts in four of his seven home games this year, with a 29.2% strikeout rate in 43.1 innings at home in 2026.

Grant Holmes (SP – ATL): 4.5 Strikeouts — Lower

Grant Holmes has struggled on the road. In 86.2 innings on the road since last season, he has a 4.67 ERA, 4.87 xFIP, 1.42 WHIP, 12.2% walk rate and 19.7% strikeout rate. Holmes has failed to clear 4.5 strikeouts in five of his seven road starts this season.

Shohei Ohtani (DH – LAD): 1.5 Total Bases — Higher

Shohei Ohtani has recorded 57 singles, 15 doubles, 2 triples, 20 homers, a .294 batting average, .541 slugging rate and .247 ISO in 391 plate appearances this season.
