Bronson Arroyo looks close to signing with the Reds

Bronson Arroyo has not pitched since 2014, but the 39-year-old may be on his way back to Cincinnati. Arroyo pitched for the Reds for eight seasons (2006-2013), going 105-94 with a 4.05 ERA. He was 7-4 with a 4.08 ERA for the Diamondbacks in 2014. (Chris Cotillo on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Arroyo may not be the best pitcher for fantasy purposes, but he did top 15 wins for three straight seasons for Cincinnati (2008-2010) and was a lock for 200 innings pitched. He has only averaged 5.8 strikeouts per nine in his career and has a 1.29 in 15 seasons, but could be a part of a shallow Reds rotation. Fantasy owners should not be too in love with a guy like Arroyo, but he is 69-53 in the second half in his career and is good for six or more innings pitched in every start,
