Noah Syndergaard likely out at least three months

Noah Syndergaard will receive a second opinion on his torn lat muscle, but early conservative estimates have him missing at least three months due to the injury. (Joel Sherman on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
This is not what owners were expecting, and while it's not the final word it does seem like Syndergaard will miss months instead of weeks with this injury. It's been a rough start to the season for Syndergaard's owners, as he's struggled even when healthy. Given the investment he required, he's a hold for the time being. If there's a silver lining it's that this isn't an elbow injury.
