Devin Marrero to fill in at second base for Red Sox

Devin Marrero is expected to slide over to second base to fill in for Dustin Pedroia (wrist), Ian Browne of MLB.com reports. He became the primary third baseman while Pablo Sandoval was on the shelf, but with the latter back in action, Marrero will slide over to fill the void left at second for the time being. Fantasy Impact:
Marrero provides great defense for the Red Sox in the infield. Unfortunately, his bat is suspect and is hitting .175 over 21 games this season. He has never been able to hit consistently at any level in professional baseball and has no fantasy relevance whatsoever.
