Kyle Hendricks placed on 10-day DL with right hand tendinitis

The Cubs placed Kyle Hendricks on the 10-day disabled list with right hand tendinitis on Thursday. Seth Frankoff was recalled from Triple-A, and Mike Montgomery will start in Hendricks' place on Friday. (ESPN)
Fantasy Impact:
Theo Epstein said he was hopeful that Hendricks would miss only one start, but fantasy owners have heard things like that from GMs often, only to see an extended absence. Still, "right hand tendinitis" certainly sounds like a minor injury, especially since Hendricks only mentioned the injury on Wednesday, several days after his last start. Hope for the minimum stay, and plan accordingly for next week.
