Ricky Nolasco (3-9) pitched 6.1 innings on his way to a quality start against a red-hot Dodgers club on Monday. The Angels walked away with the win.
Fantasy Impact:
It's highly unlikely anyone started Nolasco against Dodgers, but those that did are living today in glory. He also managed to fan five while pitching into the seventh inning with a shut-out. Don't expect dominance like this every time out, but the performance does put him on the low-cost/high-payoff radar in DFP. It's worth noting that Nolasco was removed from the game after taking two line drives to the leg. This was likely just precautionary, but keep an eye out to see if he lines up for another start next week.
