Tuesday’s Starting Pitcher Rankings (6/2)
Cam Schlittler is one of MLB’s most successful pitchers this season. According to FanGraphs, among 72 qualified pitchers in 2026, Schlittler is second in ERA (1.50), fourth in xERA (2.56), fourth in xFIP (2.61), third in SIERA (2.76), second in WHIP (0.85) and fifth in strikeout rate (29.5 K%).

Schlittler has a tasty matchup and even tastier betting info tonight. The Guardians are tied for 22nd in wRC+ (91) with a 20.5% strikeout rate versus righties and tied for 16th in wRC+ (93) with a 20.6% strikeout rate on the road in 2026.
Cleveland is also tied for 17th in wRC+ (96) with a 23% strikeout rate in the previous 30 days. Thus, the Yankees are -220 favorites, and the game’s total is a pitcher-friendly 7.5 runs.
Davis Martin is having a sensational season, and he’s in exceptional form. In his previous five starts, totaling 30.2 innings, he’s posted the following numbers:
- 4 wins
- 4 quality starts
- 2.05 ERA
- 2.25 xERA
- 2.21 xFIP

- 0.88 WHIP
- 5.0% walk rate
- 31.9% strikeout rate
- 17.3% SwStr%

Martin has a decent matchup and OK betting info. The Twins are tied for 18th in wRC+ (96) with a 24% strikeout rate versus righties and tied for 15th in wRC+ (102) with a 21.2% strikeout rate at home this year.
Minnesota is also 19th in wRC+ (94) with a 25% strikeout rate in the previous 30 days. The White Sox are -125 favorites, and the game’s total is eight runs.
Jameson Taillon is a risky pick. Nevertheless, he’s an enticing SP2 in GPPs on DraftKings. Taillon has recorded a 3.45 ERA, 3.83 xFIP, 1.06 WHIP, 6.1% walk rate and 22.7% strikeout rate in 86 innings at home since last season.
Taillon has an acceptable matchup and reasonably decent betting info. The Athletics are 10th in wRC+ (105) with a 20.9% strikeout rate versus righties and tied for 18th in wRC+ (92) with a 24.2% strikeout rate on the road this season. Additionally, the Cubs are -125 favorites, and the game’s total is eight runs.
Suggested Lineup Stacks
In a dozen starts this season, Andrew Abbott has a 3.88 ERA, 4.95 xERA, 4.88 xFIP and 5.06 SIERA. The 27-year-old lefty has outkicked his ERA estimators through 87 starts and 476.1 innings in his career.
Still, Great American Ball Park is a hitter-friendly venue, and Abbott has a 5.28 ERA in 30.2 innings at home this year. The Reds also have the fourth-highest bullpen ERA (5.00) in 2026. Kansas City’s lineup isn’t appealing near the bottom of the order, but four players are featured below, making for a compelling and affordable stack.
The Yankees don’t have the softest matchup tonight, but, like Andrew Abbott, Joey Cantillo is outkicking his ERA estimators. Cleveland’s lefty has a 3.57 ERA in a dozen starts this year, but his 4.07 xERA, 4.52 xFIP and 4.68 SIERA don’t support it.
Six of New York’s projected starters are above-average hitters against lefties, with five posting at least a 109 wRC+ against southpaws since 2024, and three besting a 140 wRC+.
