Teoscar Hernandez went 1-for-4 with a triple and a run scored during the Blue Jays' loss to the Rangers on Saturday afternoon.
The talented young outfielder is currently sporting a .296 batting average and a robust .750 slugging percentage through 60 plate appearances. Hernandez owns an inflated 29.3 percent career strikeout rate but he has cut that down to 23.2 percent in 2018 which is more than acceptable for a player with his power upside. The sample size is still rather small but Hernandez looks to have locked down the starting right field position for the foreseeable future and he should continue to bat towards the top of the lineup unless he begins to falter. If he is still available in your season-long league it is probably a good idea to pick him up and see if he can sustain this momentum.
