Jim Johnson blows the save on Saturday

by Dan Harris | Sun, May 6th 10:49am EDT

Jim Johnson couldn't protect two separate leads on Saturday night against the Mariners, blowing the save in the 10th inning before getting saddled with the loss in the 11th inning. Overall, he allowed three runs (two earned) in 1 1/3 innings, giving up three hits and one walk while striking out one.

Fantasy Impact:

Johnson got his chance to take over as the interim closer with Keynan Middleton on the disabled list and promptly blew his opportunity. With Justin Anderson and Cam Bedrosian also pitching poorly, the Angels bullpen seems like a place to avoid until Middleton returns.
