Carlos Asuaje back in the big leagues after just one day in minors

Carlos Asuaje was recalled from Triple-A El Paso on Tuesday to replace the injured Joey Lucchesi (hip) after being sent down to the minors on Monday, just one day prior. (Kevin Acee on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Asuaje has not played well this season and blew his opportunity to serve as the Padres everyday starter at second base, according to manager Andy Green. He was originally sent down on Monday with the intent of giving him opportunities to increase his versatility by learning to play third base. Now, he'll merely serve as an extra bench bat until one of the Padres' injured players makes a return to the lineup.
