Junichi Tazawa was designated for assignment following Thursday's game.
Fantasy Impact:
Apparently, the last straw came when Tazawa was brought in for mop-up duty and metaphorically forgot the mop. He'd pitched 20 innings this season and allowed 20 earned runs. He'll undoubtedly pass through waivers unclaimed.
