Ryan Cook allows walk-off bomb to Stanton
by Sam Marchant | Thu, Jun 21st 4:16pm EDT
Ryan Cook gave up two runs on two hits while striking out one batter over 2/3 innings to get the loss against the Yankees on Wednesday.
Fantasy Impact:
Cook started off the ninth strong by getting Aaron hicks to groundout and striking out Aaron Judge. After giving up a single to Didi Gregorius, Giancarlo Stanton hit a 453-foot blast off of a hanging slider. Over his last six appearances, Cook has allowed seven earned runs over 4 2/3 innings to bump his season ERA up to 6.75. Even since he took a tumble down the stairs at Minute Maid Park on June 5, Cook has struggled to keep command of his pitches.
