Mets GM Brodie Van Wagenen says that outfielder Tim Tebow will likely begin the 2019 season in Triple-A. (Jon Morosi on Twitter)

Van Wagenen also did not rule out the possibility of Tebow making the opening day roster. Part of him saying that is probably to grab some headlines, but Tebow is reportedly "on a mission" to play in the majors next year. If that happens it would be fascinating to see how Tebow fares. Many didn't expect him to even get this far.
