Phillies add depth to outfield by signing Danks

The Phillies added backup outfielder Jordan Danks to their roster after picking him off waivers from the Chicago White Sox. The versatile Danks can play all three outfield positions. Danks, known for his defensive play, hit just .222 in 51 games for the White Sox last season. (CSNPhilly.com)
Fantasy Impact:
Whilte Danks appears to have a good chance of making the Phillies roster this season, he is just a career .227 hitter with 8 home runs in 344 at bats over the last three seasons. He could get a decent amount of playing time, but most likely will not have any fantasy impact unless he gets extended starts due to injury.
