Blake Swihart was traded to the Diamondbacks on Friday along with international signing bonus pool money for minor league outfield Marcus Wilson. (Boston Red Sox on Twitter)

Swihart was designated for assignment earlier in the week. Through 12 games, Swihart was slashing .231/.310/.385. He's a good fit for the Diamondbacks as he has plays multiple positions; catcher being one of them.
