Danny Salazar allows two runs on Thursday
by Matthew Terelle | Fri, Aug 2nd 8:55am EDT
Cleveland Indians right-hander Danny Salazar allowed two runs over four innings in a 7-1 loss to the Astros on Thursday. He struck out two in the outing.
Salazar was making his first appearance on an MLB mound since the 2017 playoffs. While the results were decent, Salazar wasn't able to top 90 MPH with his fastball and injured his groin during the start. He will go for further evaluation on Friday. Expect the Indians to be extra cautious with Salazar.
