Pedro Payano allowed three runs (two earned) on six hits and three walks while striking out two through four 1/3 innings in Sunday's 9-4 win over the Tigers. He did not factor into the decision.
Fantasy Impact:
Payano cruised through three scoreless innings to start the game before yielding a run in the fourth. He allowed a two-run double to Niko Goodrum in the fifth and walked the following batter ending his afternoon. Payano owns a 3.45 ERA alongside a pedestrian 13:9 K:BB in 15 2/3 innings at the MLB level. His next scheduled start is Saturday, away against the Brewers.
