Russell Martin is "one name to consider" as the Giants search for catching help, per Henry Schulman of the San Fransisco Chronicle.
Buster Posey opted out of the 2020 season on Friday and the Giants are considering adding Martin as a replacement. The 37-year-old slashed .220/.337/.330 with six homers, 20 RBI, 29 runs and one stolen base across 209 at-bats for the Dodgers in 2019. "He's 37, but the Dodgers loved him last year," added Schulman. "Leadership strong." Martin has some potential suitors and will likely end up on a roster in the near future.
