Hunter Pence designated for assignment by the Giants

Hunter Pence has been DFA'd by the San Francisco Giants as they continue to build a youth movement in the Bay. (Bob Nightengale on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Pence had really struggled to start the year with .096 batting-average and a .411 OPS in 52 at-bats. The move will clear a playing time path for younger players on the roster as the Giants continue to rebuild.
