Tony La Russa hired as White Sox manager

Fantasy Impact:
La Russa last managed in 2011 when he led the Cardinals to the World Series title. It's a stunningly long layoff for the 76-year-old, who inherits a young team on the cusp of championship contention. Jeff Passan of ESPN reports that this decision "ruffled feathers" within the White Sox organization. Time will tell if it'll pay off or not.
