Hunter Renfroe signing with Red Sox on a one-year deal

Fantasy Impact:
Renfroe was released by the Rays earlier this offseason. He'll likely serve as a platoon hitter in Boston with most of his starts coming against lefties. Renfroe posted a weak .645 OPS during the shortened 2020 campaign, but he smacked 33 homers as recently as 2019. He is best viewed as a DFS option rather than an asset in season-long fantasy baseball leagues.
