Ryan Braun has 'no decision' yet on playing in 2021

Free agent outfielder Ryan Braun has not made a decision on his 2021 plans, according to Brewers GM David Stearns. (Adam McCalvy on Twitter)

Beat writer Adam McCalvy noted that Stearns mentioned that "both sides have been in contact, sometimes through Craig Counsell, so everyone has a feel for where things stand. But no decision yet." Braun had his $15 million option declined by Milwaukee in late October, becoming a free agent. He's hinted at possibly hanging up the cleats for good this offseason and the clock is ticking for him to make a decision as spring training is set to begin in just two weeks time.
