Jake Smolinski got the start in right field today and tallied his first double of the season in the Rangers 10-2 loss to the Angels. (source)
Fantasy Impact:
Smolinski was the favorite to take over an outfield position when Ryan Rua went down with an injury, but instead, it's been Carlos Perguero who has seen most of the action. Smolinski is hitting just .077 on the season.
