Joe Panik makes Blue Jays Opening Day squad

The Blue Jays have reportedly told Joe Panik that he has made the Blue Jays' team. Panik won't be moved to the 40-man roster until the Opening Day roster is set. (Shi Davidi on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Panik will provide depth in a talented Blue Jays infield. Panik has major league experience at every infield position, which will allow the Blue Jays to plug and play him wherever he is needed. The 29 year won't provide the Blue Jays with very much power, but he possesses an impressive eye at the plate and puts the ball in play. The Blue Jays will want to have their talented infielders on the field as much as possible, so Panik is unlikely to receive substantial playing time this season. Unless there's an injury somewhere in the Blue Jays' infield, Panik isn't worth a draft pick in most leagues because of the playing time concern.
