Hector Rondon inks minor league deal with the Red Sox

Fantasy Impact:
Rondon signed a minor league deal with the Phillies in early February, but opted out last week. The Red Sox have been engaged in discussions with several veteran arms this spring in an attempt to fortify their bullpen, and they seem to believe that Rendon could be a possible positive contributor to the big league club. This spring, Rondon has tallied a 7.71 ERA and a WHIP of 1.43, so his fantasy value is not immediately apparent to say the least.
