Jerry Blevins suffers fractured left forearm after hit by comebacker
by Nick Ritrivi | Sun, Apr 19th 4:14pm EDT
In what turned out to be a costly victory for the Mets today, LHP Jerry Blevins suffered a fractured left forearm when he was struck by a line drive off the bat of Dee Gordon. The injury to Blevins occurred only a half inning before Travis d'Arnaud fractured his hand after being hit by a pitch. Blevins will miss significant time due to the injury.
Fantasy Impact:
Blevins holds no fantasy value and should be largely ignored in most league formats.
