Brent Suter (2-2) took the loss Friday against the Marlins, allowing three runs on four hits and one walk in 2.1 innings. He struck out two.

Suter was called on for the spot-start, as the Brewers' rotation continues to be decimated by injuries. He pitched into the third before exiting with a trainer. The 31-year-old has pitched to a 3.79 ERA and 1.26 WHIP in 19 innings this season. He'll likely continue in his relief role.
