Jon Duplantier rocked by the Brewers on Thursday

by Jon Mathisen | Mets Correspondent | Fri, Jun 4th 10:54am EDT

RHP Jon Duplantier took the loss on Thursday when he allowed five runs on four hits with three walks and three strikeouts in the D-Backs' 7-4 loss to the Brewers.

Fantasy Impact:

Duplantier was victimized by the long ball on Thursday. He served up dingers to Jackie Bradley Jr., Christian Yelich, and Luis Urias that accounted for all five of his earned runs. He didn't help himself by issuing three walks as well. The 26-year-old has looked bad in his two starts this year, compiling a 9.35 ERA, 1.85 WHIP, and 8:5 K/BB ratio over just 8 2/3 innings. He's not worth a roster spot if he remains in the starting rotation or gets moved to the bullpen.
