Jon Duplantier lit up by the Angels on Sunday

by Jon Mathisen | Mets Correspondent | Sun, Jun 13th 7:56pm EDT

RHP Jon Duplantier allowed six runs on six hits with no strikeouts and no walks over 1 1/3 innings as the Diamondbacks lost to the Angels 10-3 on Sunday.

Fantasy Impact:

Duplantier had his poorest outing of the season, which is saying something for a pitcher who's allowed 19 runs over just 13 innings. He served up a two-run homer to Max Stassi in the first inning before surrendering a sacrifice fly, an RBI single, and an RBI double in the second. He was yanked with two outs remaining in the second inning, which makes this his shortest outing of the year. He's got a 13.15 ERA, 2.08 WHIP, and 12:8 K/BB ratio over 13 innings (four starts) on the season. He probably should have already been sent back down to Triple-A.
