Taylor Motter draws walk but strands four runners

Rockies third baseman Taylor Motter went 0-for-3 with a walk against the Astros on Wednesday. He also stranded a team-most four runners in the process. Houston ultimately defeated Colorado by a score of 5-1.

Fantasy Impact:

Motter is still searching for his first hit of the season. Promoted to the majors on Tuesday, the 31-year-old is now 0-for-6 with a pair of walks. A 17th-round pick of the Rays in 2011, Motter has a career .188/.263/.307 slash line with 37 RBI, 38 walks, and 89 strikeouts through 143 games spanning parts of four seasons with the Rays, Mariners, Twins, and Rockies. Prior to being called up to the MLB level, Motter was hitting .335 with 24 homers at Triple-A.
