Fantasy Impact:
This is at least a good sign for MacKenzie Gore as the former number one pitching prospect has struggled with mechanical and command issues, as well as experiencing a drop in velocity since being drafted in 2017. If Gore can continue this trend, we may see him in the big leagues for the first time as the Padres look to provide depth in their starting pitching rotation.
