Eloy Jimenez Hits First Home Run of Spring

by Tommy Grevlos | White Sox Correspondent | Fri, Mar 25th 12:00pm EDT

Eloy Jimenez collected two hits, one being a HR, in the White Sox 9-6 loss to San Fransisco.

Fantasy Impact:

Jimenez has looked good this spring, and most importantly, he's healthy. He will see more time at DH this year as the White Sox hope to keep his bat in the lineup. The 25-year old is bursting with talent, but has yet to play more than 122 games in a season. The White Sox and fantasy managers alike are hoping he'll live up to his prospect pedigree and complete a full season. If he does, he could be a value at his current draft price. According to current consensus ADP, Jimenez is the 57th player coming off the board. He'll last longer in points leagues, as he doesn't walk much (career .OBP sits at .315).
