Cole Sulser earns the save on Thursday against Nationals

by Dan Harris | Mets Correspondent | Thu, Apr 28th 10:15pm EDT

Cole Sulser pitched 1 1/3 scoreless innings on Thursday against the Nationals, allowing just one walk. He struck out two and earned his first save of the season.

Fantasy Impact:

With Anthony Bender getting a break on Thursday, Sulser filled in admirably. Bender has done well as the Marlins' closer in Dylan Floro's absence, but Sulser, with his strikeout upside and ability to limit home runs, would likely be next in line if neither Bender nor Floro could serve as the stopper. He's worth stashing in NL-only formats, but that's all.
