Nationals SS Alcides Escobar went 1-for-4 Monday, tripling and scoring one run in the Nationals' 13-5 loss to the Mets.

Escobar extended his hitting streak to five games Monday, going 6-for-18 with two runs scored in that span. The veteran infielder is hitting just .222 with 11 runs scored and eight runs batted in through 117 at-bats this season.
