Daniel Castano worked 6 2/3 shutout innings in Wednesday afternoon's 3-1 loss to the Phillies, allowing just five hits and two walks while striking out three.
Fantasy Impact:
Castano was called up from Triple-A for this start and proceeded to completely stifle a strong Phillies offense. The 27-year-old southpaw displayed great command all afternoon, finding the zone with 72-of-105 pitches. The Marlins certainly need some consistency in their rotation right now. Castano should find himself back on a big-league mound soon after this effort.
