The Cubs placed Alec Mills on the 15-day IL on Sunday with a low back strain and recalled Michael Rucker from Triple-A. (Chicago Cubs on Twitterr)
Fantasy Impact:
Mills left Saturday's start after just seven pitches with lower back pain, and likely underwent an MRI that revealed the strain. Even if he needs to miss the minimum time, he mediocre numbers make it obvious that he's not worth holding onto through his IL stint. Move on in all formats.
