Michael Chavis went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and a strikeout during Tuesday's 6-1 loss to the Braves.

Chavis got the scoring started with a second inning solo homer, his 13th of the year. The run ended up being the lone scored by Pittsburgh Tuesday, as they fell for the 10th time in their past 12. The 27-year-old first baseball is batting .247 with 40 RBI this season.
