Devin Smeltzer pitched 2 2/3 innings, allowing three hits and no earned runs Sunday. He struck out one batter and earned his fifth win of the season against the Brewers.
Fantasy Impact:
Smeltzer was recently recalled from Triple-A and has worked as a reliever out of the Twins pen. The 26-year-old has a 3.71 ERA, .253 BAA, and a 2.11 K/BB ratio. Smeltzer had worked out of the rotation earlier in the season. With his role shifting to long-relief, he is not a viable fantasy option.
